HotBoots bag

Insulating mat

Powerbank

Inserting the mat

Insert the mat from the top to the bottom of the heated bag, with the ridged side facing up (massage layer). Press the mat into both rear corners using two fingers. Proper placement is essential for maximum insulation of the bottom.

Connecting the powerbank

There is a pocket at the rear exterior of the bag. Insert the powerbank into it. At the top, connect the built-in connector into the usbC2 port — this will automatically activate the powerbank.

The side switch will light up and cycle through all 3 colors, indicating proper connection.

Turning on

Press and hold the side button on the bag for about 3 seconds to turn it on. The button will turn red, indicating instant heating to the highest temperature. You can switch heating levels by pressing the button again — from red (high), to blue (medium), to green (low).

Tip: For the best thermal comfort, turn on Hotboots at room temperature for 4–5 minutes. Then fold the bag to prevent heat from escaping at the top and carry it to a colder outdoor environment.

Putting on

Place the bag on the floor, open the cover, and insert both feet. Hotboots can be used with or without shoes. Pull the left cover section up above the knees and zip it at the thigh. Then zip the cover smoothly to the right side. The bag is fully on when both cover parts are zipped up to the thigh area.

Tip: HotBOOST: In extreme cold, you can tighten the integrated elastic cord to narrow the bag space. This brings the heating elements closer to your legs and significantly enhances thermal comfort.

Ways to use

The bag is extremely durable and can be used in various positions.

Turning off

Press and hold the button to turn off. After finishing the heating cycle, disconnect the powerbank from the connector inside the pocket.

Charge the powerbank using the supplied cable via the lower port in/usb-C1. For technical specs, see the back of the powerbank.

Maintenance

Larger dirt like mud and grass gets caught in the mat. For regular maintenance, we recommend cleaning after each use. Unzip the outer zip at the bottom of the bag, then gently pull out the entire thermal insulation mat. Shake out the dirt or rinse and let dry. Insert the dry, clean mat back in the bag — ready for next use.

Everyday dirt can be removed by wiping the bag with a damp cloth. The whole bag (without the powerbank) can be machine washed at max. 30°C. However, we recommend this only 1–2 times per season. More info on the label inside.

Tip: For maximum hygiene, keep the bag open and hung up after use.
